Join the OCSO Sheriff's Star Charity and Performance Pickleball Academy for the 2026 Guns vs. Hoses Charity Pickleball Match on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Mooney Park in Fort Walton Beach. This exciting event invites all first responders—law enforcement, corrections, EMS, fire, and nursing personnel—to compete in a matchup between Team Guns (law enforcement) and Team Hoses (firefighters)!
Registration is $20 per player or $27 with an event t-shirt. Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or just starting out, players of all skill levels are welcome to join the fun. 75% of the proceeds will benefit the winning team’s chosen charity, while the remaining 25% will support the charity selected by the losing team.
Businesses and individuals are encouraged to get involved by donating to their favorite team. Your contributions will help increase the proceeds going to your team's designated charity.

About the Match
The 2026 Guns vs. Hoses Charity Pickleball Match will follow a round-robin format. Each "Guns" team will compete against every "Hoses" team within their pool, ensuring all teams play an equal number of matches and face a variety of opponents.
If the number of teams requires multiple pools, competition during the round-robin phase will be limited to teams within the same pool. Each match win will earn one point toward the team's overall score. After the round-robin phase, the top-scoring "Guns" and "Hoses" teams from each pool will advance to a single-elimination playoff. Playoff matches will be worth two points each, and the final championship match will award three points. The team with the highest cumulative points at the end of the tournament will be crowned the winner!
